Violin I - Part 1

This fully online, self-paced course for students in grades 6–12 introduces the fundamentals of violin playing. Students learn correct posture, basic bowing techniques, finger placement, and simple music reading skills. Through guided exercises and practice, students begin to play simple melodies and develop confidence with their instrument.

By the end of the course, students will be able to perform beginner-level pieces and understand foundational violin techniques.

Parent Note: Students may need help with proper posture, tuning, and handling of the instrument. Encouragement and supervision during practice sessions can help reinforce good habits. Note: Violin II is available for students who complete this course or wish to continue developing their skills.
